Our story
Growing up in Colombia, I was immersed in a culture of community. Helping neighbors and sharing what little you had were everyday values. My grandparents, who saw giving back as second nature, taught me the privilege of helping others—a lesson that shaped my worldview.
Years later, living in the Netherlands and completing my Executive MBA in 2024, I found myself reflecting deeply on the kind of leader I wanted to become. In one of our leadership sessions, I was asked a simple but transformative question: What is the legacy you want to leave in this world? That moment sparked something in me.
Looking back on my journey, my values, and the lessons I had learned, the idea of Tu-legado was born. It became clear that the tools and insights I had gained during the MBA could be used to create meaningful change for one of the most vulnerable groups in Colombia —the elderly. Suddenly, everything made sense to me. This is what I want: to inspire others, bring like-minded people together, and be a force for positive change.
